2025 / Zine anthology paricipation

My submission for a year of the snake zine. I love playing around with scientific and folklore/mythological imagery. The background image is inspired by Aztec sculptures of Quetzalcoatl and snakes, the superimposed image is based off of the movement of the Common water snake in the scientific article “Mitigating memory effects during undulatory locomotion on hysteretic materials” by Perrin E Schiebel et al.
